[Day 319]When You Left Your Class with Tears

This semester, I am taking a history class for my graduation requirement.  This is the first time that I am taking a college history class in the U.S.  As a part of the course, we did quite a lot reading about the Vietnam War.  I also got to choose a different research topic for my 10 pages research paper.  The material and the reading that I choose was the documentation, letters, newspapers, diaries from 1962 to 1985 about Gay Experiences and the Gay Movement.

I am so glad that I take a class that challenges myself.  I am thankful for all the awesome resources that I get to use at Cal.  I left the library with tears in my eyes couple times after doing my research. I had tears in my eyes after talking to my GSI in her office hours.  It has been a good experience so far.  It is so cool to know more about the Vietnam War from different perspectives.  It is so cool to know more about the Gay Experiences and the Gay Movement from such rich and touching documentation and resources.
